The client
Asociația Getica is an accredited labour-market services NGO from Mureș County: job mediation, career counselling and vocational training, with a track record of EU-funded entrepreneurship and youth-employment programmes that have funded dozens of new businesses. ONG 4 ONG is its largest programme to date — a two-year project under Romania’s Education and Employment Programme, targeting 31 NGOs and 71 specialists.
The challenge
Romania’s NGO sector is fragmented. Organisations working on the same problems in neighbouring counties often don’t know each other exist; jobs circulate in Facebook groups and funding opportunities are discovered late. In the president’s words, they wanted a single place for every opportunity in the sector.
The platform was a formal objective of the EU project, with a tender listing eleven required functions, a fixed grant budget and nobody on the client side to run servers.
What we did
We started from the client’s request and its eleven required functions, then extended the specification where it added value: predefined industries and salary ranges for the job board, reporting per NGO, questionnaires with export, and a block-based editor so the team could publish without a developer.
The contract was signed at the end of April 2024 and the acceptance report four weeks later, with every functional and installation item marked complete. The platform went to production in August. Jobs carry company, location, industry, experience, salary, contract type and work mode, with CV upload and filters that only show locations with active postings. One content engine runs announcements, events, project updates, the EU-funds section and restricted toolkits. Courses track applicants; questionnaires export to CSV; reports give twelve-month statistics per NGO. Four roles cover visitors, member NGOs, partners and admins, with invite-by-email onboarding, social sign-in and accessibility settings for theme, font and layout.
Results
- All eleven required functions delivered and formally accepted four weeks after contract signature; in production four months after signature.
- 35 partner NGOs on the platform against an EU project target of 31.
- 8 courses and 8 events published since launch, including two international best-practice exchanges, with the site still updated in 2026.
- A managed stack with no servers for the client to run, at roughly 2% of the project budget.
- Getica has since returned to Moonlysoft for its next EU application.

“Working with Moonlysoft felt like a real partnership, with them by our side from day one. We had an idea, one place for every opportunity in the NGO sector, and they made it real, simply and without complications.”
